…”the past, the present…the FUTURE”! Reflecting back on 11 years as a professional club jock, it certainly has been an amazing journey for Harv! Whether playing packed Friday nights in the grimiest wooden floors in Philly, naked campgrounds in Florida, a Leather Bar in Montreal, or dirty, sexy house music in Philly, or any place in-between – all people who’ve stopped by for a groove and dance have always received more than they hoped for or expected! That great “vibe” – the amazing nights of a passionate music mixer…Harv remains true to form – exciting people with dance energy – inspiring other artists, DJ’s, producers, authors, film directors, graphic artists, actors, and actresses, singers, musicians – anyone who wants an instant friend through the music…! “I got my education at a place called “Twilo” in 1997…some DJ named Tenaglia…It was an epiphany…!” (DJ Harv) And so it goes…the near future will see Harv wearing the remixer/producer hat, and these productions are guaranteed to be special! He has gained the sight and confidence to break out even more as an artist and align himself with only the best dance music and those behind it who promote it and produce it. Fully invested in many types of “now” music – he plays a very strong mix of tech house, minimal techno, progressive house with elements of psy-trance, tribal with a dash of pop vocal, maybe disco echoes, and always a guitar or lovely piano to keep you climbing! His amazing success at the UK’s “Radioactive FM” can be clearly attributed to his non-stop devotion to loyally deliver the rhythms and beats to a worldwide audience three times a week. These folks are enjoying what they are experiencing from DJ Harv and want more. Riding high on a huge wave – “the second coming of house music” – in all of it’s forms – recycled and turbocharged – complex and melodic – minimal and charging – beautiful and hypnotic – Harv will be kicking off a UK tour Nov 29th (see show details for more info). Back home in the USA – he is the creator and resident DJ of a new Philly bi-weekly “Dirty, SEXY, House Music” Saturdays at Liberty Bar… 2008 has been a great year – 2009 will be even better!
